“I am a physician (M.D) specialized in clinical pharmacology and I have spent the last decade in clinical drug development and basic research.  

After carefully observing my colleagues and peers, I realized that clinicians and researchers frequently overlook secondary and tertiary priority updates within a specific disease area. To read these abstracts of these articles indexed in PubMed® on a monthly basis would take approximately 6-8 hours. I wanted to address the problem by shortening the timeframe.

The 5-minute review succinctly summarizes all the PubMed® indexed articles in a disease area, and presents them in format that clinicians are familiar with– Epidemiology, pathophysiology, Diagnosis etc). My mission and goal for the 5-minute review is to expand the monthly updates to maximum number of therapy areas, and become the worlds leading go-to source for research updates!

Dr. Reefa Alina D’souza is M.D Physician specializing in Clinical Pharmacology and Diabetes management. She brings a diverse wealth of experience to her practice, combining over a decade of expertise in pharmaceutical medico-marketing with academic medicine, pharmacological research, and active clinical care.

Dr. D’souza has a substantial background in acedemics. She previously served as a faculty member and teacher at the Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine (PUGScM) in Malaysia. During her tenure (circa 2017–2023), she instructed medical students across several core modules
